Endorsement Journey Course for the Prescription of Scheduled Medicines

Welcome to Bondi Podiatry, a leading provider of podiatry services, and a trusted partner in your professional development. We are excited to offer a new course that will guide you through the journey for application for the endorsement of the prescription of scheduled medicines. Pathway B for endorsement is challenging and this course is intended to act as a guide through that journey. Please note that Zahava Robinson (the podiatrist providing the course) is not eligible to be a mentor at this stage and it is critical to adhere to AHPRA’s registration standards and guidelines at all times. These guidelines will be referenced throughout the course. Please also note that this course is not a replacement for any part of the pathway, it is simply a guide to how Zahava, a recently endorsed podiatrist, navigated Pathway B.

As podiatrists, we understand that staying up-to-date with the latest developments in our field is crucial to providing the highest level of care to our patients. That's why we have designed this course to help you expand your scope of practice and offer more comprehensive treatment options to your patients.

The course is designed to guide you through every step of the endorsement process, from the initial application to the completion of the required education and training. Our endorsed podiatrist who has recently completed the process will provide you with in-depth knowledge of the regulatory requirements and equip you with the skills and confidence to prescribe scheduled medicines safely and effectively. Please note that this course is purely a reflection of Zahava Robinson’s endorsement journey and you will need to adhere to AHPRA’ registration standard and guidelines in order to achieve endorsement.

By completing this course, you will be guided on how to:

  1. Once endorsed you will have increased your scope of practice: You will have the knowledge and skills how to apply for Pathway B for the endorsement process which will enable you to prescribe a broader range of medications to your patients once you are approved for Endorsement for the Prescription of Scheduled Medicines by AHPRA.

  2. Once endorsed by AHPRA you will improve patient care: With the ability to prescribe scheduled medicines, you will be able to offer faster and more effective relief to your patients.

  3. Expand your career opportunities: An endorsement for the prescription of scheduled medicines can open up new career opportunities and increase your earning potential.

Thank you for your interest in our course on the journey for application for the endorsement for the prescription of scheduled medicines. We would like to remind all participants that this course is designed to provide support as you undertake the endorsement process, this course does not replace mentorship with an agreed mentor by AHPRA or any prerequisite courses for undertaking endorsement. It is important to note that the final decision to endorse any podiatrist for scheduled medicines rests with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
